Branko Auguštin, when in 2003 brought up the idea about the Abraham’s regatta, he celebrated his 50th birthday. He organised an Abraham regatta of a closed type, just for his friends, which had positive response even from some outsiders to this restricted party of collaborators. For this reason, in 2004, we have organised the Abraham regatta once again. Ten crews responded, two of them with members, who were all 50 years old. After pleasant sailing and even more pleasing evening »party«, we have parted with a promise, to meet again every year on third Saturday in October. 

Abraham's regatta is a tradition now.

For all participants, especially the sailing Abrahams, who will reach the age of fifty this year, we will prepare an interesting and unique sailing party with live music, in hotel Marina in Izola.
